Sales Manager

Chicago

STACK’s Sales Manager is responsible for growing STACK’s business.

They will conduct sustained outreach among key prospect and client stakeholders in a particular geography to make them aware of STACK’s capabilities to provide campuses, build-to-suit data centers, colocation capacity, private data halls, and powered shell options. The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communications with appropriate executives and management to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.

They will engage with Clients in a variety of ways, build relationships, establish trusted partnerships and work in conjunction with Solutions Engineering team to provide a comprehensive data center solution, responsive to the Client’s needs to potentially include concept, site selection, development, capital planning, design, and investment and maximize sales revenue to meet company objectives.

Critical Operations Technician

STACK is looking for a Critical Operations Technician (COT) to support a local data center campus. As a member of STACK’s Critical Operations team, the Critical Operations Technician must possess strong knowledge in maintaining the mechanical, electrical, fire life safety, base building, and other various internal data center systems. The COT will also be focused on the execution of programs related to Safety, Team, Availability, Communication, and Knowledge. The COT will be responsible for day to day operations of the data center.

Director of Energy and Environment

Denver

At STACK, the Director of Energy and Environment is responsible for building and leading STACK’s Energy and Environmental strategy, through partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Supporting a North American portfolio of existing, expanding, and new market assets through negotiating renewable contracts and other supply agreements; while managing interconnection and utility delivery. All of this occurs in the context of STACK’s 100% renewable energy and broader environmental goals, which the Director Energy and Environment will be responsible for refining, augmenting, and executing.  STACK is looking for someone with passion, curiosity, and experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience negotiating multi-site renewable energy procurement transactions, an ability to understand and align stakeholder interests, and at least some exposure to alternative energy technology and utility interconnection.

  • Lead evaluation, diligence, contract negotiations, and internal recommendations for power procurement for a portfolio of existing data center facilities and facilities under development
  • Build a world-class, portfolio-wide renewable energy procurement program, along with needed ancillary programming (e.g., tracking and reporting), in a portfolio that includes data center facilities in regulated and deregulated locations
  • Review, augment, and lead STACK’s sustainability programming
  • Interface with internal and external partners, including finance, design and engineering, sales, marketing, legal, tax, and consultative resources

Director of Product Marketing

STACK is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to synthesize market, audience, product, and competitive inputs for driving the highest possible revenue for the business. The role of the Director of Product Marketing involves performing activities such as product market positioning, sales and product differentiation messaging development, competitive analysis, and sales enablement such as creation of sales tools, communication, and training. The ideal candidate for this role will be a leader and a great communicator that understands the detailed nuances of the data center, MSP/CSP, and technology infrastructure market and buyer personas.

To develop the product positioning and messaging and maximize the strengths of every marketing and communication channel, the Director of Product Marketing will work to understand the audience’s needs and behaviors, market trends, and competitive intelligence.

This is a cross-functional role that requires strong communication and collaboration with company leadership, product management, finance, sales teams, and other marketing functions in the formulation of optimal go to market strategies, product education approaches, product solution creation, and execution of competitive counter-tactics to achieve the product’s market share targets. Remote candidates will be considered.

Director of Connectivity

As the Director, Connectivity, you will manage all elements of STACK’s connectivity platform across the data center portfolio. You will be responsible to plan, implement and manage the strategic telecom and connectivity elements that facilitate the goals of STACK and of our clients.

An important part of this role is establishing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with telecom providers, carriers, dark fiber providers, and interconnection service providers.

One of the key challenges will be to establish a portfolio-wide strategy for effectively facilitating our clients’ connectivity needs through our Meet Me Rooms, creating standards for designing, building, and operating these facilities. The Connectivity Director will work with the management team to establish consistent policy and pricing models that support the overall company strategy.

Director of Construction Safety

 STACK’s Director of Construction Safety is a key role to develop a forward-thinking construction safety program that meets and exceeds regulatory requirements and best practices. As a subject matter expert in safety with a strong background in construction, the successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, communicative leader who adheres to the highest standards of excellence. Position available in Northern Virginia, Silicon Valley, or Remote. 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with EH&S in the construction industry, preferably with data center construction or large projects. 
  • Proficient with the management of high-risk activities including electrical safety, excavation, fall protection, material handling, and crane operations. 
  • Experienced in the evaluation, integration, and management of sub-contractors is required. 
  • Understanding of the complexities of multi-employer worksites. 
  • Experienced trainer on construction safety topics and comfortable working with a wide variety of trades. 
  • Must have working knowledge of NFPA 70E, 29 CFR1926, and environmental compliance 
  • A strong understanding of construction management 
  • Experience implementing EHS management systems (eg. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ANSI Z10) 
  • Expert in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. 
  • Experienced with the concepts of Safety in Design and able to contribute and facilitate key stakeholders including architects, general contractors, and project management to proactively identify opportunities to improve safety in the design and construction phases of a project. 

Construction Safety Manager

STACK is seeking a passionate and dynamic Construction Safety Manager to support its development team in Northern Virginia. As an Owner’s safety representative, you will partner with our GCs and their subs to create a culture of safety that ensures that every employee on-site, our customers, and the public remain safe during the construction of our data centers. Our Construction Safety Managers are a critical part of our development team and a valued member of our overall health and safety department. You will help ensure site safety programs meets regulatory requirements and adhere to STACK Infrastructure’s expectations for job site safety which goes above and beyond basic compliance. As a subject matter expert in safety with a strong background in construction, the successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, communicative leader who adheres to the highest standards of excellence.

Sales Operations Intern

The Sales Operations Intern is responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Sales and Sales Operations teams. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations and will work closely with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Solutions Engineering. This role will be responsible for analyzing data, creating reports, and assisting the sales team with data gathering. This position will be located in our Hillsboro office in Portland, OR, but we will also consider applicants working remotely.   • Maintain liaison with various contractors and vendors in order to manage the day to day activities that impact the delivery of company’s critical facilities construction projects

Assistant Critical Operations Manager

Silicon Valley

STACK is looking for an Assistant Critical Operations Manager to support a local data center campus. As a leader in STACK’s Critical Operations team, the Assistant Critical Operations Manager must possess an expert level of knowledge and will be responsible for assisting the Critical Operations Manager in maintaining the mechanical, electrical, fire life safety, base building, and other various internal data center systems. The ACOM will also be focused on implementation of programs related to Safety, Team, Availability, Communication, and Knowledge. The Assistant Critical Operations Manager will report to the Critical Operations Manager.

The ACOM will assist the Critical Operations Manager in developing and maintaining CAPEX and OPEX budgets at the site level. They will also be responsible for project execution and management including developing scopes, obtaining proposals, creating purchase requisitions, and ensuring invoices are routed properly.

Critical Operations Technician

Silicon Valley

STACK is looking for a Critical Operations Technician (COT) to support a local data center campus. As a member of STACK’s Critical Operations team, the Critical Operations Technician must possess strong knowledge in maintaining the mechanical, electrical, fire life safety, base building, and other various internal data center systems. The COT will also be focused on the execution of programs related to Safety, Team, Availability, Communication, and Knowledge. The COT will be responsible for day to day operations of the data center.

Mechanical responsibilities will include working on chilled water systems and components, HVAC systems such as roof top units,  CRAC/CRAH units, humidification systems, fan wall systems, air cooled  chillers, and central plant operations.

Electrical responsibilities will include working on electrical/critical power distribution from the Utility/Generator main switchgear through the UPS systems out to the customer load, UPS, PDU, and RPP cabinets.

Fire Life Safety responsibilities will include monitoring wet sprinkler systems and pre-action sprinkler systems as well as their associated detection devices.
